1. General Terms
Welcome to GAADISETU ("Platform"), India's commercial vehicle rental marketplace. By using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
GAADISETU acts as an intermediary connecting vehicle owners ("Owners") with customers ("Renters") seeking to rent commercial vehicles.
These terms apply to all users — customers, vehicle owners, drivers, and visitors. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this platform.
2. Payment Policy — 30% Advance + 70% After Completion
⚡ Split Payment System
GAADISETU uses a two-part payment system to protect both customers and owners.
2.1 Advance Payment (30%): When a customer confirms a booking, they must pay 30% of the total booking amount as an advance to confirm the booking.
2.2 Remaining Payment (70%): The remaining 70% of the total amount is paid by the customer after the work is completed and the trip is marked as done by the owner.
2.3 Non-Refundable Advance: Once the vehicle reaches the customer's pickup location and the owner marks "Vehicle Arrived", the 30% advance becomes completely non-refundable.
2.4 Platform Commission: GAADISETU deducts a 10% platform commission from both the advance and remaining payment. Owners receive 90% of each payment.

2.5 Payment Methods: UPI, Debit/Credit Cards, Net Banking via Razorpay.
2.6 GST: 18% GST is applicable on all bookings as per Indian law.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Customer Cancellation — Refund on Advance

Special Circumstances — No Penalty

| Government lockdown / curfew | Full refund, no penalty |
| Vehicle breakdown with proof | Full refund, no owner penalty |
| Medical emergency with proof | Full refund, no penalty |
Refund Timeline: Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.
4. Trip OTP Verification Policy
🔐 Trip OTP Security
GAADISETU uses OTP-based trip verification to ensure correct ride initiation and customer security.
4.1 OTP Generation: Once the vehicle owner marks the vehicle as "Arrived at Pickup Location", the system automatically generates a 6-digit Trip OTP and sends it to the customer's mobile via SMS and WhatsApp.
4.2 OTP Usage: The driver/owner must enter this OTP on the platform to officially start the trip. Without the correct OTP, the trip cannot be started in the system.
4.3 OTP Validity: The Trip OTP is valid for 30 minutes. After expiry, the owner must re-mark the vehicle as arrived to generate a new OTP.
4.4 OTP Security: Customers must NOT share their Trip OTP until they have verified the correct vehicle and driver have arrived. GAADISETU will never call asking for your OTP.
4.5 Advance Non-Refundable: Marking "Vehicle Arrived" triggers the OTP and also makes the advance payment non-refundable.
5. Smart Distance Pricing Policy
If the vehicle's current location is more than 10 KM away from the customer's pickup point, additional charges apply.

| Construction vehicles | ₹25 per KM beyond 10 KM |
| Transportation vehicles | ₹15 per KM beyond 10 KM |
| Farming vehicles | ₹10 per KM beyond 10 KM |
Example: A JCB (construction) is 25 KM from pickup. Extra KM = 15. Extra charge = ₹100 + (15 × ₹25) = ₹475.
6. Driver Assignment Policy
6.1 Owner Responsibility: Vehicle owners are solely responsible for the driver they assign to a booking. GAADISETU does not verify or background-check drivers.
6.2 Driver Notification: When a driver is assigned, they receive booking details including pickup location, customer contact, and a secure link via SMS and WhatsApp.
6.3 Secure Link: Drivers access booking information via a unique secure link. This link is valid only for the assigned booking.
6.4 Customer Privacy: Only the customer's name and mobile number are shared with the assigned driver. Payment details are never shared with drivers.
7. Owner Terms
7.1 Commission: GAADISETU charges 10% platform commission on every confirmed booking. Owners receive 90%.
7.2 Document Validity: All vehicle documents (RC, Insurance, PUC) must be valid at all times.
7.3 Payout: Earnings are transferred to your registered bank account within 3-5 business days after payment.
7.4 Approval: All vehicle listings are manually reviewed. Approval takes 24-48 hours. GAADISETU can reject any listing.
8. Privacy & Data Policy
8.1 We collect mobile number, name, and booking details to provide services.
8.2 We do NOT sell your personal data to any third parties.
8.3 Location data is used only for pricing and service delivery.
8.4 OTP messages, booking confirmations, and Trip OTPs are sent via SMS and WhatsApp.
8.5 Payment data is handled entirely by Razorpay (PCI DSS compliant).
9. Prohibited Activities
- Sharing Trip OTP before verifying vehicle/driver identity
- Creating fake bookings or fraudulent listings
- Using vehicles for illegal activities
- Providing false documents for verification
- Bypassing the platform for direct payments
- Harassing customers, owners, or drivers
- Creating multiple accounts to abuse the platform
Violations result in immediate account suspension and possible legal action.
